Facts and tips about monogamy

Monogamy:

Only having sex with one uninfected partner who only has sex with you.

Here's how:

number 1
Find a partner.
number 2 Both partners use condoms consistently and correctly for three months OR both partners abstain from sex with anyone for three months.
number 3 Both of you get tested (and treated if necessary) for HIV and other STDs.
number 4 If you are both not infected with HIV or other STDs and monogamous (and you don't use needles with drugs), condom-free sex is now safe.
number 5 If your relationship doesn't stay permanent, return to STEP One.

Don't assume your partner is monogamous.
Discuss it and keep discussing it.
