Immunization Program
Occupational immunizations
Health care workers and those who work in school and child care settings should know whether or not they are immune to measles, mumps, rubella, and chickenpox.
- People whose jobs require frequent travel, especially international, are at higher risk of exposure to diseases that may no longer be common in the United States, such as measles, rubella, diphtheria, and polio.
- Health care and public safety workers who are likely to have exposure to blood and body fluids in the workplace should be vaccinated against hepatitis B, optimally before completing their training programs.
- Employers who wish to set up a contract with Public Health clinics to provide vaccines to their employees may contact Accounting Services at 206-263-8611.
