Wednesday, January 29, 2003

KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON - The King County Medical Examiner's Office is attempting to identify the skeletal remains found in Newcastle on January 15, 2003. The decedent is a male, 24- 35 years of age, 5'3" to 5'8" in height. His teeth are in good condition with no dental restorations. His lower wisdom teeth are impacted and his lower front teeth are crowded with a slight overlap. Clothing found with the remains suggests the decedent wore pants with a 30" waist and 30" inseam. The time since death is estimated to be from several months to two years.

Determination of race is pending further studies.

Anyone with information is asked to call the King County Medical Examiner's Office at (206) 731-3232, ext. 1 or the King County Sheriff's Office at (206) 296-7530.
