Briefing: How Healthy Are We?
Dr. Jim Krieger and Dr. David Solet of Public Health's Epidemiology, Planning, and Evaluation Unit will explain:
- core health indicators, such as access to health care, obesity and infant mortality
- how these indicators are selected in evaluations
- how indicators are used, especially to make informed policy decisions
There will be discussion with the board on the most appropriate indicators for future monitoring of the public's health.
