King County Board of Health meeting on February 15, 2007

KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON - The King County Board of Health will hold its next meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2007, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is a joint meeting with King County Council Law, Justice and Human Services Committee and City of Seattle Council Housing, Human Services and Health Committee.

Agenda

1.	Call to order
2.	Announcement of any alternates serving in place of regular members
3.	Approval of minutes of the January 18, 2007 meeting (Action Item)
4.	Resolution 07-01 (Action item) Kathy Uhlorn, Board Administrator, will present a resolution adopting the 2007 work program for the King County Board of Health.
5.	BOH Briefing No. 07-B04 Dr. Margo Wootan, Director of Nutrition Policy at the Center for Science in the Public Interest, will brief the Board on menu labeling.
6.	Resolution No. 07-02 (Action item) Carrie Cihak, King County Council Staff, will present a resolution approving a policy framework for the health of the public.
7.	BOH Briefing No. 07-B05 Carrie Cihak, King County Council Staff, will brief the Board on the appointment of Dr. David Fleming as Director of the Department of Public Health - Seattle and King County. The public will have an opportunity for comment on the appointment.
