King County Board of Health meeting on May 10, 2007

KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON - The King County Board of Health will hold its next meeting on Thursday, May 10, 2007, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The meeting will be held at:

Room 1001, Council Chambers

7. BOH Briefing No. 07-B17
Kathy Uhlorn, Board Administrator, Tom Bristow, Government Relations Consultant, and Christina Hulet, Health Policy Advisor in the Office of the Governor will present a Washington State Legislative wrap up.

8. BOH Briefing No. 07-B19
Jim Krieger, Chief of Public Health’s Epidemiology, Planning, and Evaluation Unit, will brief the Board on diabetes in King County.

9. BOH Briefing No. 07-B18
Donna Oberg, Public Health Project Manager for the Nutritional Options in Restaurants project, will provide an update.
10. BOH Briefing No. 07-B16
Toni Rezab, King County Office of Management and Budget and the Public Health Operational Master Plan Project Manager and Carrie Cihak, Board of Health lead staff, will provide an update on the Public Health Operational Master Plan.
