Eastbound and Westbound Flight Procedures into BFI
North flow
Vashon Arrival (North Flow): Report to Tower from vicinity of North Vashon Island; fly direct to Fauntleroy ferry dock, then parallel the roads Eastbound. Remain South of the West Seattle Reservoir (*) to enter a left downwind for RWY31L.
Blake Departure (North Flow): Turn left after departing RWY31L to remain North of the West Seattle Reservoir and head for Blake Island. Fly parallel the roads Westbound until crossing the shoreline at or above 1,500' MSL.
South flow
Blake Arrival (South Flow): Report to Tower from vicinity of Blake Island; fly direct to the Northend of Lincoln Park, then parallel the roads Eastbound to remain North of the West Seattle Reservoir (*); and then enter a right downwind for RWY13R.
Vashon Departure (South Flow): Turn right on a close-in downwind; then turn West abeam the control tower. Remain South of the West Seattle Reservoir and proceed direct to North Vashon Island, flying at or above 1,500' MSL crossing shoreline.
* Recommended altitude is 1,000 feet at West Seattle Reservoir.
