The Regional Governance Team (RTG) coordinates the County's participation in the development of and/or participation in governance option studies and annexation feasibility studies. The RGT is responsible for reviewing all municipal and special district annexation proposals and for coordinating the County's response to them in conjunction with the Washington State Boundary Review Board for King County and the County's Utilities Technical Review Committee. It is also responsible for leading negotiations related to service provision or asset transfer brought about by annexation.
