King County Executive, Port of Seattle to brief Regional Policy Committee on proposed land swap


Metropolitan King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer today announced that the Council’s Regional Policy Committee will receive a briefing on the proposed land deal between King County, the Port of Seattle and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad at its meeting next Wednesday, November 1. King County Executive Ron Sims and Port Commissioner Mic Dinsmore have been invited to brief the committee. The Regional Policy Committee meeting begins at 3:00 p.m. and will be held in Council Chambers, 10th Floor, King County Courthouse, 516 Third Ave., Seattle. von Reichbauer is chair of the King County Council’s Regional Policy Committee, which reviews and recommends regional policies and plans, and is composed of King County Councilmembers, Seattle City Councilmembers, and Suburban Cities representatives.
