Veterans' Program Announcement:
Grand Opening of Veterans Memorial Park Building

Veterans Citizen Levy Oversight Board Chair Douglas Hoople (third from left) represented King County at the ribbon cutting of the new Veterans Memorial Building on Nov. 5, offering remarks about the importance of the county's efforts to expand King County Veterans' Program services to areas of the county outside Seattle thanks to the funding from the voter-approved Veterans and Human Services Levy.

The 1,928 sq. foot building received $40,000 in Veterans Levy dollars. Also attending the event was Auburn Mayor Pete Lewis (far left) and Joel Estey, Veterans Program Coordinator (far right).
