Youth Shelters

AYR Sign The Youth and Family Services Program supports a system of five youth shelters operating throughout King County. The types of shelter range from emergency overnight shelter, to short-term shelter (one month or less), to transitional housing for youth planning to move on to permanent housing. The objective of shelter services is to offer a safe alternative to the streets while providing the supports necessary to link youth to more stable living situations.
