Oversight Plan for the Mental Illness and Drug Dependency (MIDD) Action Plan Approved

On April 28, 2008, King County Council passed Council Ordinance 16077 establishing the MIDD Oversight Committee, and approving a revised Oversight Plan for the Mental Illness and Drug Dependency Action Plan. (Legislative documents available here.) The permanent Oversight Committee is being convened through a process of appointment by the King County Executive and confirmation by King County Council.

A draft of the Implementation Plan will be available for review and comment by the middle of May. The three-part Oversight, Implementation and Evaluation Plan must be completed by August of 2008.


Planning Group is Meeting to Provide Input on Development of Implementation and Evaluation Plans

A planning group, comprised of members of the proposed Oversight Committee, is currently meeting to provide input on the development of the implementation and evaluation plans until the permanent committee is seated.
