EVENTS October 2nd, 1:30 p.m. Disability Awareness Month Proclamation by Metropolitan King County Council & King County Executive Ron Sims In the Council Chambers on the 10th floor of the Courthouse The County Council and the County Executive will jointly proclaim October as Disability Awareness Month. October 2nd-15th Art Display by VSA Arts of Washington In the Administration Building Tunnel VSAAW is as an affiliate of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. It creates learning opportunities through the arts for people with disabilities by creating inclusive programming in education, access, exhibits, and studio experiences throughout Washington State. Kimberlee Lonergan, ARNP from Sleep Medicine Northwest will discuss types of insomnia, causes, use of medications, "sleep hygiene", and guidelines for sleeping well.
