Questions & Answers Column
- Apartment manager Terry Simpson advises the Garcias that their family will be most comfortable in Building C, where there are many other families with children. Is this discriminatory?
- Repairman Greg is friends with Sandy, a resident at the complex where he works. When Sandy has a repair request, Greg puts his request ahead of other residents who are waiting for repairs. Is this discriminatory?
- Housing provider Jensen restricts the age of tenant's children to 12 and under because older teens would have additional rule violations and cause problems at the complex. Does this comply with fair housing laws?
