Kevin Barth, a leader in the Environmental Science Academy at West Seattle High School, has contributed significantly to curriculum, restoration projects, and off-campus environment-based explorations.

Kay Moilanen of Hazelwood Elementary has involved her students in a wide range of environmental projects including recycling, composting, household hazardous products and their effect on groundwater, and most recently, native plant landscaping.
