Foss Environments Kit and Hazards on the Homefront
Free training and support materials are available for teachers or school districts interested in integrating the FOSS Environments Kit with Hazards on the Homefront lessons. The materials, developed by a fifth-grade Shoreline teacher through a King County grant, focus on the scientific method and connect HHW and the Environments Kit to WASL objectives. The materials have been used successfully by teachers in the Shoreline School District. To schedule a free, half-day workshop or to learn more about the materials, contact Jennifer Howell at 206-583-0655 or jhowell@triangleassociates.com.
