Commercial Buildings

In the Puget Sound region, about 22% of the greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global warming are attributed to the building sector. Additional environmental impacts include contaminated storm water and burdens on existing landfill space. This is due to a combination of factors including energy usage, the continued creation of impervious surface, and construction debris generation. Green, sustainable building techniques, coupled with the right kind of maintenance, can help reduce this trend and ultimately contribute to the creation of environmentally, financially, and socially sustainable communities.
