GreenTools for Governments

GreenTools is dedicated to supporting the suburban cities throughout King County in their efforts to reduce environmental impacts and create healthy, thriving communities. Knowing that each city has its own unique challenges and opportunities, the resources available through GreenTools are not intended to be one-size-fits-all approaches. Instead, resources have been developed that each city can tailor to meet their own needs. This includes assistance with developing green building ordinances, helping each city to "green" their own permitting processes, providing customizable green building outreach materials, and more.
