Environmental Categories

Each participating school or school district selects two to four of eight categories in which to make improvements. Waste Reduction & Recycling is a required category. Click on a category below to learn more.

If a participating school or school district is working on a viable conservation strategy that does not fit into one of these eight categories, the Green Schools Program can tailor the program to meet the needs of the individual school or school district.
