Applications Welcome

The Green Schools Program is accepting applications from schools (K-12, public and private) and school districts in King County (outside the City of Seattle). School applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. One to three school districts will be selected each year, with service starting in September.

2002-2003

Schools that participated in the pilot Green Schools Program during the 2002-2003 school year were featured on King 5 News and in stories in a number of local newspapers.
King 5 News featured a story on Crestwood Elementary School's Green Schools achievements on Friday, June 20, 2003, on the 5:00 p.m. news. A Seattle Times article and two King County Journal articles (East side and South side editions) noted the school's accomplishments. A press release was issued by King County on June 17, 2003.
