Business Junk Mail Reduction Project |

|
Business Junk Mail Complaint Bureau The vast majority of companies who send direct mail will take you or your business off of their mailing lists if you ask them to -- after all, it's a waste of their money to send mail to people who don't want it. However, some companies do not have any system in place to take people off their lists, and they ignore requests from people who want their name removed. The National Waste Prevention Coalition is trying to identify these companies. If we get several complaints about a company, we will contact an executive at the company and try to persuade them to change their policy, so that people can have their names removed from their lists. We will also send a copy of the letters or e-mails to the Direct Marketing Association. Because our time and resources are limited, we ask that you do not report a company to us until you have asked them at least twice to remove your name, and been ignored. To submit a complaint, click here to e-mail us. Also feel free to write us about any problems you have regarding business-to-business direct mail. Even though we will not contact a direct-mailer unless several businesses have had the same significant problem with that mailer, we still like to hear your comments, ideas and rants. Thanks! |
