It has been a privilege to serve you as a member of the
Newcastle City Council. I am proud of our accomplishments -- providing
high-quality police and fire services, developing parks and trails for the
enjoyment of our residents, bringing an improved Coal Creek Parkway closer to
reality, and maintaining the financial health of our City. One of my primary
goals for my second term is to implement our Community Business Center Plan.
It’s an exciting plan that would make the City more livable and provide needed
sales tax revenues. As part of that effort, I will promote design standards to
ensure that future development enhances the aesthetic character of our City.
Another goal is to encourage public interest in City issues. As we develop our
budget for next year and discuss the future of our City, I would greatly value
your ideas. Thank you for your confidence in me.
