Frank Lonergan

The values of integrity, hard work, and community responsibility have been instilled in me since I was a boy. They are values that have guided me throughout my life. They continue to be the underlying principles in my work as a City of Snoqualmie Council member.

For the past four years I have worked to make Snoqualmie the safest place in the nation to live, work and raise your family. I believe that our citizens should feel safe in their homes, neighborhoods, parks and schools. That is also why I led the effort to establish the Snoqualmie Fire Department and have been an avid supporter of public safety.

I have worked to bring affordable housing to Snoqualmie, to keep the small- town quality of living and to fight for high quality development when and as it is planned.

I would like to continue working for you, the citizens of Snoqualmie.

Beautiful scenery. Clean air. Friendly people. These are just a few of the characteristics of Snoqualmie that drew my wife and I to make this city our home. My desire to be involved in the community and my honest belief that I can contribute responsibly to the governance of our city, are the reasons for my candidacy.

One of our greatest challenges in the next four years will be preserving Snoqualmie’s treasures, values and traditions through managed growth. Maintaining a balance of old and new that will enhance the beauty of our area and quality of life for our citizens is a top priority. As a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for King County, I also understand the importance of public safety to Snoqualmie’s residents.

I pledge to be accessible, listen to your concerns and desires, and to make decisions based on what is in the best interest of the entire community.
