I am very proud of the many positive accomplishments and changes we have made in the City of SeaTac. We have created new parks, built miles of sidewalks, paved and lighted numerous neighborhood streets. We will soon have a new city hall that we can all be proud of. Our police and fire services are the best and work closely with our citizens.

In cooperation with the Highline School District we actively and financially support school programs including the very successful Tyee High School Travel and Tourism program, which provides careers and jobs for our students.

We have achieved all of this and still been able to lower our tax levy rate to less than our neighboring cities. We do not have a B & O or utility tax. SeaTac is in sound financial condition with conservative fiscal policies to which I am committed. Let’s continue to move ahead.

SeaTac needs a change. We need to offer another choice for city councilmember. One in place too long becomes totally non serving for the citizens. I support our present form of government. We do not need an empire builder under the title of a strong mayor form of government. We voted this down once. The constant tax increases need to be turned into how we manage our funds. Most of us do not have endless resources to provide increases in taxes forever. Improve citizen services for all. Too often we seem to overlook the middle aged highest tax paying citizens. I look to provide the best emergency services we can afford. I wish to protect our neighborhoods for the future. We are long-term home owners and love our city. I would appreciate your vote to allow me to help guide our city.
