List of Candidates for
CITY OF SEATAC COUNCIL POS. NO. 06, 4 YR TERM

Steve Stevenson, Sr.

SeaTac needs a change. We need to lower our taxes. The city hall project has cost approximately $3.5 mils to study to death. I do not support using an old building, restricted for future growth, poorly located, and in the end will cost more than a new structure. The city of SeaTac deserves much more. My experience as a past councilmember will allow me to move forward with the necessary actions to complete this project. I support strong Police, Fire, and Medic one services. I support the needs of our senior citizens, and the needs provide for our youth. We need less support for the Airport and more support for our citizens. Improve the building permit process to prevent slowing business and home improvements. Find ways to improve our government to help protect us. Your vote to put me to work would be appreciated.

Joe Brennan

Actively involved citizen of SeaTac area since 1964, Joe brought impressive qualifications and experience to the Council in 1989. He’s a committed, capable and caring council member. Joe has provided informed and thoughtful leadership as council member, deputy mayor, and mayor.

Joe’s experience includes: Volunteer firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician ’75-’89; King County Fire District #24 fire commissioner ’77-’89 (chair ’82-’89); PTSA officer at Madrona, Chinook (Golden Acorn award), and Tyee; Chinook Junior High Dances ’67-’80.

While on SeaTac City council, Joe’s activities in Transportation and Human Services and Chairman of Public Safety (police/fire) and Hotel/Motel Tax Committees have given him a well-balanced vision of things that need to be done now and in the future.

Our city’s financial position is very bright. Over the years we have reduced the property tax levies and I intend to keep it going that way. Please Vote for Joe Brennan.
