FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO. 38 COMMISSIONER POS. NO. 02, 6 YR TERM

Steve Parsons

Fire District #38, in the Upper Snoqualmie Valley, is part of a consolidated fire department consisting of four cities and two fire districts. It is your fire commissioners’ duty to seek the highest quality service for the most reasonable cost.

With over 20 years of fire service experience, I currently hold the position of Deputy Fire Marshal for a large King County fire department. I have extensive training and experience in fire department operation, fire prevention, and emergency management, along with a BS in Construction Management. Additionally, I have been involved in the Fire District for the past four years by regularly attending the Commissioners Meetings. This experience, training, and involvement has uniquely prepared me to meet and effectively manage current and future issues that will affect our fire department. Please help me to protect your family and mine. Vote November 6, it does count.

Jack M. Quinlin

I have worked in business for more than thirty years after completing a college degree and two years in the military. My business career included extensive management responsibility in human resources, labor relations and operations. I have had experience in budget management, business planning and problem solving.

I would like to have an opportunity to use this experience to serve the citizens in District 38. My family has lived in the Upper Valley for ten years and has experienced the tremendous population growth that has occurred here. All indications are that rapid growth will continue for many more years. The needs of the citizens have changed dramatically in the past decade, and these needs will continue to change.

It will be the responsibility of the Commissioners to act to insure that the citizen’s best interests are served. I believe that I have the ability and experience to achieve that.
