It is my honor to run for a second term as a Fire Commissioner for King County Fire Protection District 44. I have over 30 years experience in the fire service, ranging from volunteer fire fighter to commissioner. I retired after 28 years of service, as an Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Auburn. I am a graduate of Green River Community College and North Seattle Community College and I have a degree in Fire Command and Administration. I am also a graduate of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Program. I am currently the Chairman of the Board for the district. During my next term, I will strive to maintain quality fire and emergency medical service to the Lea Hill area during the ongoing annexation process. I will assist in the reorganization of our district to ensure the best possible fire service to all of our citizens.
