I believe a change is
needed. As a new water district commissioner I will provide one. Change comes
from the inside out, not from the outside in.
Personal and property
rights must not be trampled upon. Having lived on and off the Snoqualmie Valley
and Duvall areas, and with a degree in Construction Management from Edmonds
Community College, I am aware of the changes that have occurred. A good neighbor
policy must be provided by Water District #119.

Growth in the area
has brought more demands on water supplies. In many areas of Water District 119,
ground water levels are limited or non-existent. Reliance on the Taylor’s
Landing well, which has been closed, has brought to light the need for public
water supply. Since the District buys all of its water from Seattle, a healthy
partnership must be maintained. We must make educated decisions regarding
realistic conservation practices while providing water to our entire community
and seeking to find new water resources. Being actively involved with other
water jurisdictions will help to keep Water District 119 in compliance with the
growing restrictions on the County, State and Federal level. Our District is a
non-profit public municipality and therefore the decisions made by the
Commissioners must reflect the best choice at the best cost for the entire
community. Clean, safe water is a resource we cannot be without.
