If we fail to support continuation, the East Bellevue Community Council (EBCC) is gone forever. It can never be re-activated.     The Community Council (unpaid volunteers) provides a unique opportunity for you to influence and control land use changes. Residents’ interests should be heard and protected. We have meetings to obtain your views. We work to develop alternatives that will not compromise our quality of life. When all else fails, EBCC has the authority to disapprove (veto) City legislation.     We work hard to protect the quality of life which attracted my family to East Bellevue 36 years ago. When there are conflicting views, not everyone is going to be happy. However, we hope you value our efforts. We can not stop change but that change must be balanced and impacts mitigated with preservation of our values. I appreciate your support.
