EAST BELLEVUE COMM MUNICIPAL CORP COUNCIL POS. NO. 05, 4 YR TERM

Jim Keeffe

“The best government is the least government, and the one closest to home.” Critical to this is YOUR continuation of YOUR East Bellevue Municipal Corporation, and its five member Community Council. Since 1969 you have continued your unique Corporation and Council seven times, and this election will be the eighth. Receiving no pay, your councilmembers have worked diligently for thirty-three years to maintain and enhance the quality of life in East Bellevue through controlled land use actions. I know virtually every square foot of the land in our area, as well as much that abuts us. Having lived in the same home here since 1953, I also know the history of most area parcels. Can any city councilmember claim the same? We have gotten parks, trails, paths, bikeways and a magnificent greenbelt. We’ve struggled with traffic and work to prevent it from becoming worse. Shall all this continue? It’s up to YOU!
