It is clear that neighborhood preservation is becoming more difficult. Our Community Council is a huge asset in this regard. The right to approve all land use issues in our jurisdiction is a unique function that provides needed local control. The Community Councils serve as true grass-roots participation in our land use decisions. As a member of the Sammamish Community Council it has become absolutely clear how important this function is, now and into the future.     I ask for your vote and re-election to the Sammamish Community Council.
