NO. 07, 4 YR TERM Lee Fjellanger Sandy Guinn Lee Fjellanger     I helped improve Bothell by serving on the Library and Civil Service Boards (10+3 years). I was key in changing the zoning in one area of my neighborhood from multi- to single-family housing. I believe that Bothell must preserve neighborhood integrity and quality family life by directing traffic to major streets and adequately buffering existing residences.     As a college graduate who volunteered for the Marine Corps during Vietnam, and then went on to serve 28 years on the UW police force, I learned how to work with anyone in any situation. I build strong, positive relationships, relationships based on trust. In short, I get done what needs doing.     So as your council member, I will continue to do that by abiding by these principles: Will it protect our neighborhoods and environment? I will always hold my allegiance to the people living here.     Representing YOU the citizens of Bothell, I held our local property taxes to cost of inflation and less! I promoted safe neighborhoods with additional Fire and Police Officers and added sidewalks around our schools. I actively supported traffic solutions to keep traffic moving by improving the main roads and not forcing traffic through our neighborhoods.     I will continue to ensure parks throughout the city. I supported Skateboard Park, Stipek Park, and raising 2.8 million from King County for lighting five ball fields and building a new ball field!     I will work hard to represent YOU, the citizens of Bothell.
