List of Candidates for
CITY OF CLYDE HILL COUNCIL POS. NO. 05, 4 YR TERM

Philip G. Rourke

As Mayor and as Councilmember, I have served Clyde Hill for the past twelve years. I seek re-election to continue participation in the City’s conservative management, as well as to complete several current projects.

As a Translake Study Process participant, I have followed Clyde Hill’s as well as the region’s interests in the expansion of the SR-520 corridor. I serve as a Suburban Cities Association representative to the Executive Committee of the Puget Sound Regional Council. In this position, I take part in decisions regarding plans for improving transportation in the four county metropolitan area. I am a supporter and participant in efforts to bury above ground utility wires and add sidewalks on arterial streets in Clyde Hill. If re-elected I will continue to work for improvements in our regional transportation network as well as the upgrading of public areas in our own City.
