Integrity.     That’s what you expect from your elected officials, and that is what you have received and will continue to get from me.     Whether it’s fighting to protect your ability to rebuild non-conforming condominiums in the advent of a disaster, repealing unnecessary utility fees and taxes, or working for the long-term economic health of Des Moines, I have taken the lead.     Four years ago I committed to work on five issues: youth recreational facilities; fighting the proposed Third Runway; fiscal responsibility; finding an alternative to the current Senior Center; and promoting business development. Today I can report that we have made progress on nearly all of those issues.     While I haven’t been entirely successful, I have worked hard to achieve those things I told you that I would  when I ran four years ago.     Please, remember to vote for me on November 6th.
