Jeanne Burbidge

    Jeanne Burbidge brings experience, thoughtful decision-making and knowledge of the community. Her priorities are: improving public safety and transportation, responsible budgeting, economic development, and parks and activities for our growing population.

    Jeanne chairs the Parks/Recreation/Human Services/Public Safety Committee and continues with Finance/Economic Development/Regional Affairs and Land Use/Transportation Committees. She chairs King County’s Regional Law, Safety and Justice Committee, is Vice-Chair of the South County Area Transportation Board, and Director, Suburban Cities Association Board. She helped begin the South County Human Services Forum.

    A 33-year resident, Jeanne has a B.A. from Seattle University and a master’s from U.W. Experienced as a counselor, educator and small business owner, she is an effective representative, understanding the importance of hearing and responding to citizen concerns. Her vision is “a healthy, vibrant, economically thriving community, which protects and improves the quality of life which brought us here together.”
