As a lifetime resident of Medina I have seen numerous changes
to our city, some positive and some negative. I want the opportunity to improve
the City Council and represent all citizens in these changes and decisions.
I received a BS degree from Seattle University and I am a
Supervisor with the Redmond Police Department. Prior to that I worked 21 years
in hospital management. I am familiar with city and police issues and the
importance of community involvement.
I want to ensure a high quality of life in Medina. I am
committed to Medina and a team approach in proactive Council problem solving.
You can count on me to be a skilled listener, responsive to your opinions. We
have many important issues facing us such as the proposed 520 expansion,
construction, taxes, growth and traffic.
Working together we can make a difference. Please support me
on voting day!

Over the past decade it has been my privilege to gain
knowledge and experience as I have served the City of Medina for 1 year on the
Park Board, 6 years on the Planning Commission-2 years as chairperson, and 2
years on the City Council. With your support, I pledge to remain proactive in
addressing our city’s needs by seeking to preserve Medina’s unique livability,
to promote fiscal conservatism, to champion the right of every citizen to be
heard and to be informed, to maintain the rights of individual property owners,
to respect and support our city staff, to encourage our Police Department’s
ongoing pursuit of excellence, to seek equitable resolution of agenda items, and
to remain an outspoken advocate for Medina’s best interests in regional matters
such as the proposed 520 expansion and ECAAN’s pursuit of airplane noise
reduction.
