Kasey
CLAY

As a lifelong Tukwila resident, I have become a very active community member. My experience includes PTA President for two years, Membership Chair, PSO Vice President and secretary, Foster High School Site Council President. I currently hold a resident position on the Human Services Advisory Board. I have worked with our local food and clothing banks, as well as other community resources to assist in the support of all Tukwila residents. My commitment, enthusiasm and knowledge of this community is what I believe makes me a responsible candidate for Tukwila City Council. I am proud of what this community has become and where the future of Tukwila is headed. I hope you agree with my experience and give me your vote and the chance to help Tukwila become the community we all want it to be.

Tukwila is a community rich in natural resources, those resources being the members of our community. As Director of the Tukwila Pantry, a local food and clothing bank located in our city, I see people that are in need of community assistance and resources. I am working with many people and organizations, from within and outside of Tukwila city limits, to provide that assistance to members of our community. I want to make sure that Tukwila remains a community of local charity and giving. I want to make sure that all residents of Tukwila be treated with dignity and respect.

My family has lived in the Cascade View area of Tukwila for generations. I have roots in this community and wish to see it grow for the benefit of all our residents. It would be my pleasure to serve as a Tukwila Council member.

LINDER

The small town atmosphere of Tukwila is only one of the reasons that my family and I choose to make our home here. I have been a member of this community for twenty years.

Thank you for the opportunity to have served as your councilmember for the past six years. I'm proud to have been a partner in the great strides the city has been making in areas that the community has said needed attention.

We have had a dramatic reduction in crime. We have an increased police presence. Our citizens' involvement is at an all-time high. We have kept our focus on things that improve Tukwila.

There are challenges ahead. Our priorities should reflect a changing economy and protect our residential neighborhoods and open spaces. With my re-election, I will continue to work hard for those things and continue to be a voice of common sense for our community.
