  To maintain our quality of life, we must retain the proven principles of government, yet be open to new ideas and change for the better. Two years ago I ran for city council in Algona. I wanted to bring about common sense change and increase communication between residents and our city government. Every person's ideas, input and good works should be honored, recognized and respected.

  Algona's growth should be controlled in an open, responsible manner. Most of the residents, including myself, choose to live here because we love the small town quality of life. As a resident, candidate and parent I will keep the needs of our families and community foremost on my agenda. Allowing our residents a say in how we will grow. I ask you again, for your support and hope you will allow me the honor of representing you on the city council.

  As a lifetime Algona resident I care deeply about our community. I believe we should continue to preserve Algona's "small town" community atmosphere while continuing to enhance services such as public safety and senior programs.

  I have served on the City Council, Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment as well as chaired community events such as Algona Day, Algona Block Watch Program, and the Easter Egg Hunt.

  As an active participant in Algona's government I continue to be an outspoken proponent of keeping communications with our residents open. I make an honest effort to listen to the needs and desires of our community.
