  Budget problems are a way of life, but education is no place to make compromises. Schools are the one promise we make to future generations. I'll focus on lifting the state levy cap so Vashon can have the best schools it deserves - not rely on roller-coaster funding from Olympia.

  I will respect and protect the excellence and care that already flourishes in the Vashon School District. I'll also focus board energy on work that will recruit and support teachers who are an inspiration to our children - and our community.
