  It has been a privilege to be your representative on the Tukwila Board for the past two and a half years. A School Board member represents the community and sets the direction that will best provide a quality education for the children within the community. Your involvement in that process is vital. My five children have all attended Tukwila Schools during the past fifteen years with the last two now attending Foster.

  This year we are seeing the culmination of the Capital projects that began thirteen years ago with the building of Foster High School. We have five modern schools, a new transportation lot within our boundaries, with the renovation of the Stadium, and a new administration building currently under construction. These new projects were financed by a capital bond at the same time as the elementary schools.
