I have lived in Duvall for over thirty years and graduated from Tolt. I am the current Duvall Planning Commissioner, and the Chamber of Commerce V.P. and Special Events Coordinator. I am involved in the Riverview School District having raised two children, volunteering as a cheer coach, and as the current CHS Dance Team coach. I am also a P.E. Specialist at a local private school and have good experience dealing with children from pre-school to college.

As a School Board Member, my goals are to be informed, involved, and to listen to everyone. I will deal with issues surrounding all grade levels and take a hands-on approach when listening to all parents, teachers, and administrators.

I think kids are a priority, and I am committed to the betterment of their education. I will put all my energy, heart and soul, into serving this community through improving our schools.

I believe in public education. Our children deserve the best opportunities we can give them. Working together, we will create a first-class educational system for our students. When differences arise, decisions should be based on facts and what is best for our children.

We are involved in the community. My wife teaches in Carnation. Our children attend Stillwater Elementary. I am a firefighter in Duvall.

I am involved in our schools -- helping in the classroom and working on committees. I see how much time parents contribute and how hard the teachers and administration work to insure our children's success. This collaboration has shown me how important communication between parents, teachers, and administrators can be. I will work to further strengthen this communication.

I have experience in team building, budgeting, and working with businesses and public agencies. I believe I can make an important contribution to the school board.
