Wendy Aman — Nonpartisan

In the past eleven years, I have been an active volunteer in the Issaquah schools. I have worked in our sons' classrooms, served on site councils, participated on school and district wide committees. My volunteerism has also included transit, parks and other community based advisory groups. Additionally, for eighteen years I have successfully run a small business contracting with publishers to represent their product lines in schools and libraries. I will bring to the school board my commitment to public service, an understanding of the educational arena and a customer service ethic.

As an elected board member my commitment will be: to engage the community in order to develop priorities and to establish board policy, to insure that those priorities are reflected within the budget, and to develop accountability measures for our district management. These are the cornerstones for building trust in our school district.
