Education: MBA, MA Stanford University.
I want to help our community join
together to create an exceptional place for our children to learn and grow. My
business skills--14+ years as a management consultant, helping organizations
better manage their employees--and background as a classroom teacher and
administrator will make a positive difference in students' lives.
Our community needs a Board that is
independent--not unduly influenced by the Superintendent or the teacher's
union. I bring that independence to the job. I am committed to:
Listening
to the customers--teachers, parents, and students;
Leading
with vision
by setting clear, challenging goals; defining standards of excellence in
teaching, management and student achievement; measuring performance and
demanding accountability; and
Leveraging
every resource.
Member of planning team, Skyline; two terms Site
