Rich Baldwin is working to uphold Northshore's
proud tradition of excellent schools, and asks for your support. He currently
serves as board president.
Our schools have made great strides making sure the
curriculum matches the state learning standards. Now the focus is on testing
and grading. The Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) will become a
graduation requirement, and schools must comply with the Federal No Child Left
Behind Act. At the same time, state funding for schools will remain tight and
the district must be fiscally responsible. Rich will keep Northshore focused on
these key issues while looking at creative ways to resolve budget constraints.
A product line manager at Korry Electronics, Rich
holds a masters degree in electrical engineering. He has two children in Northshore
schools and one who has graduated.
