I am a 25 year resident of Shoreline and for the past eight years I have served as one of your Fire Commissioner's. I was appointed to fill a vacant position on the Board in 1995, then elected to complete the two year un-expired term. In 1997 I was elected to a full six year term. I have worked to bring you the highest levels of service possible for your tax dollars. We have re-established financial stability in the department, completed a major capital improvement project - on time and within budget, expanded our paramedic program, established a Public Information and Education Specialist position and are working on joint projects with our neighboring fire departments.

I am on the Board of the Shoreline-LFP Arts Council and a member of the City of Shoreline's Human Service committee and Emergency Management Council.
