King County Local Voters Pamphlet

  I have been a resident in King County District 10 Fires Protections' service area for the last 15 years with 8 years experience as a volunteer within the department. For 2 years I was a volunteer trained to respond with the career staff in medical and fire emergencies and the last 6 years as a department Chaplain. I have first hand experience in understanding how the men and women serving the department perform their jobs and in experiencing how the citizens of the area interact and perceive this valuable service. I look forward to helping the department provide the very highest quality, cost effective service possible in these challenging economic times. I feel as though I fully understand how the difficult trade off's between level of service and economic realities must be weighed to achieve the best possible balance between the two.
