North Highline Fire District
COMMISSIONER POS. NO. 03, 6 YR TERM

Candidates:

Ronald Malaspino — Nonpartisan

Photo of Ronald Malaspino — Nonpartisan   Re-elect Ron Malaspino because he's the most qualified and honest. You can trust your firefighters, Sheriff Reichert, and many others who have endorsed him.

Malaspino doesn't blow smoke. He has a proven track record. He's president of the board and has served three terms without reproach. He brings fresh ideas to the fire department, which is thriving under his leadership. The department was just rated to a higher classification, which puts it in the top 4% of fire departments in the state. The State Auditor also recognized the department for nine successful audits with no adverse findings.

Malaspino has worked hard to ensure firefighters are ready to serve emergency needs: . We now have round-the-clock staffing of our emergency aid cars . Up-to-date equipment and vehicles have replaced 20-year old equipment . Fire stations have been upgraded to required-building standards.

Re-elect Malaspino. He's lived and worked in our community for 38 years.

As an active involved member of our community for 20 years, I bring a positive approach to problem solving and strategic planning. I have given time and energy to national organizations such as The Junior League of Seattle, Big Sisters of America and served locally on Community Councils. Sitting on committees ranging from Roads Pedestrian Safety to the Governance of North Highline, presenting at the KC Sheriff's Citizens Academy, volunteering at the storefront and co-founding our Citizen Patrol all have kept me in touch with the community and its needs.

My professional experience as operations manager for an international manufacturing company during those years has provided the business experience and knowledge to provide proven leadership to the Fire District.

Emergency fire and medical response is a basic, fundamental and demanding function of local government. I ask your vote to insure that our community receives this service efficiently and effectively.
