Education: Attended University of Washington, Mechanical Engineering.

Occupation: Owner and operator of several successful small businesses in the Pacific Northwest over the last 30 years. As President of these businesses, I was always responsible for their financial condition. In addition to finance my duties included management of: accounting, purchasing, production, importing, exporting, and overall sales. I feel this hands on experience could be an asset to Fire District 20.

I have been a resident of Fire District 20 for 43 years and I am aware of the districts many advantages and some of its problems.

Skyway has been my home since 1986. I served as a volunteer firefighter for nine years and as your commissioner since August 2002 and previously (1998-2000), I have worked hard to maintain the professionalism and integrity of our Fire Department.

Thanks to your support, we are implementing the capital improvement projects proposed last year. These will enable our Fire Department to meet training, emergency response, disaster preparedness and community education needs of our area now, and into the future. As commissioner I will continue working with the dedicated professionals of our Fire Department to efficiently deliver these services.

Our community is facing many challenges. A Fire Department professionally staffed, properly trained and equipped, is one tool to help meet these challenges. I ask for your vote on Election Day.
