I am a 35 year resident of Fire District 44 (formerly
46) currently serving my second term as Chairman of the Board. As an elected
commissioner, I have worked to ensure that the highest level of service is
provided with your tax dollars. Without increasing the taxes of the District,
new fire apparatus and aid vehicles are now in service. The number of on duty
career firefighters is now sufficient to meet the daytime responses, when
volunteers are at their jobs.
I have been involved in the process of upgrading
station 94 to meet the needs of Medic One, which will be stationed there and
will be able to respond to critical life threatening incidents in a timely
matter.
If elected I will continue to ensure that the
emergency needs of the fire district are met, not only now, but also in the
future.
