King County Local Voters Pamphlet

  As longtime resident of the area served by the Finn Hill Park and Recreation District I served as a commissioner during the crucial time of transferring the O.O. Denny park function from King County to FHP&RD. My concept of the park district includes the protection and preservation of this important resource and, as appropriate, the addition of other park lands in a fiscally responsible manner. Park maintenance costs have been kept down by an aggressive competitive bidding process and by involving volunteer organizations to provide some supporting services. The commission should work with park neighbors to enhance the wildlife habitat corridor that currently exists beyond the present park boundaries.
